Description Håvard H. Garnes 2007-10-10 23:48:04 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Quite often, Evolution will pop up an error saying (in no_nb)
"Feil under Pinger IMAP-
tjener ...

Connection reset by peer"

This is extremely annoying, as I need to click this error away, and yet the error tells me absolutely nothing I need to know or care about. The error steals focus from the current application, though, so I ofteh miss a word I am writing because I find my self writing in the error window. I absolutely need to be able to turn this error off, or turn off pinging of the IMAP-server. The preferences say not to check for email regularly.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start Evo
2. Wait, go about your normal business
3. Have Evo steal focus

Actual results:

Expected results:
I don't need to know that the connection was reset, or that an error occurred. It is quite normal, and happens once every 10 minutes.

Does this happen every time?
yes
