Description Mildred 2007-10-10 20:32:08 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Sometimes, when I search for a word in the page (using Edit->Find) and when I click on a link, the search bar disappears, the page scrolls and often I end up clicking on another link

A workaround I found is to first click somewhere on the text (not on a link or near a link). This closes the search bar. Than I can click my link safely.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a page with many links
2. Search (Ctrl-F) something
3. click on a link
4. With luck, the bug appears (I can't always reproduce it

Actual results:
The page scrolls and I click somewhere else

Expected results:
I would like the page to stay still

Does this happen every time?
no :( unfortunately

Other information:
Epiphany uses Gecko 1.8 but I winder if it is related. Maybe this doesn't happen with webkit but I noticed this bug for quite a long time in epiphany.
