IMAP or POP? How exactly do you sort (clicking the headers of the columns)? Works here...
Comment 2 hipp 2007-10-16 01:52:37 UTC
I use Pop and sort by clicking the headers of the columns.
Comment 3 André Klapper 2007-12-07 16:21:36 UTC

eds patch

for evolution-data-server;

a little change in there, to not mess up costly done sorting of uids at the beginning, before starting actual threading process.

my views definition

I have 2.28.2 on Fedora 12 and I still see this bug! :(

Look at my screenshots. One conversation is threaded but most of them are
not!?!

Am I doing something wrong or is this bug somehow making some conversations
threaded and some not.

Comment 18 Oded Arbel 2009-12-24 13:47:08 UTC
Is it possible that these messages do not have thread context ("In-Reply-To" header) but should be threaded by subject and you do not have "Fall back to threading by subject" enabled under Edit->Preferences->Mailer->General ?

I've installed a new machine the day before yesterday and forgot about that setting and then wasted half an hour looking for it.
Comment 19 Oded Arbel 2009-12-24 13:57:53 UTC
I also wanted to say that with 2.28.2, at least my problem (threading order gets confused when deleting messages that have too close time stamps) seems to be fixed.

Thanks.
