What were you doing when the application crashed?
I right-clicked on the deskbar-applet (grey-orange looking glass thingy with teh squiggly orange arrow) and selected "Preferences" from the drop-down menu. 

Closing the Bug Reporting Tool and repeating the above re-triggered the error.
