GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 484422
Wrong downloaded filename on url redirect
Last modified: 2011-08-08 04:09:55 UTC
Please describe the problem: Right-click on a link and choose "download link". If the url redirects to somewhere else, the filename of the saved file will be filename of the url redirecter, not the target. Here the file will be mp3get.cgi: http://www.downloads.nl/cgi-bin/mp3get.cgi?u=http%3A%2F%2F220.181.38.82%2Fm%3Fct%3D134217728%26tn%3Dbaidusg%2Cthe+end+of+the+world++from+Kare+The+Top+1971+1973%26word%3Dmp3%2Chttp%3A%2F%2Fmusic2.xialala.com%2Fan%2FhZqYk3qkm5eAmJKInZuWj6Ckn5g1.mp3%2C%2C%5Bend%2Bof%2Bthe%2Bworld%5D%26si%3Dthe%2Bend%2Bof%2Bthe%2Bworld%3B%3Bcarpenters%3B%3B0%3B%3B-70040%26lm%3D16777216 Steps to reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Reporter, is this still reproducable with Epiphany 3.0.x? The link provided in the bug looks like it isn't valid any more.
I don't have Epiphany 3, but this is no longer a problem in 2.30.6. However, when turning off "automatically download and open files", Epiphany segfaults on this link: http://mp3.zing.vn/download/song/Bach-C-P-E---Solfogietto-Various-Artists/ZncHtLnaVxhHzaJTLFJTFmLG
I cann't reproduce crash as mentioned in comment#2. Please feel free to reopen this bug if the problem still occurs with a newer version of epiphany 3.0.x, tia.
