Description MJ Talbot 2007-10-05 01:07:17 UTC
add gstreamer pipeline id3tag to it
I see with bug #351171 that there coul be some problem with the latest id3tagv2, because it uses 2.4 version and it seems to be very unsupported by hardware or lots of software. Perhaps there's a pipeline for 2.3 version.
Couldn't it be added to default audio profile?
Thanks

I am not sure if it's the role of the media profiles. Let's ask an expert. Stefan, any thought about that?
Comment 2 Stefan Sauer (gstreamer, gtkdoc dev) 2008-04-18 17:18:58 UTC
yep, first there needs to be a way to select the version, before gnome-media profiles can handle it.
Comment 3 Tim-Philipp Müller 2008-04-18 18:26:46 UTC
AFAIK taglib doesn't support this.

The new id3mux plugin in gst-plugins-bad 0.10.13 has a v2-version property.
