Description Tony Houghton 2007-10-04 23:42:30 UTC
Please describe the problem:
There seem to be no python bindings for the function wnck_set_client_type and its associated enum WnckClientType. If the client type isn't set to WNCK_CLIENT_TYPE_PAGER, metacity doesn't raise activated windows when raise_on_click is disabled, so all task list type programs really need to be able to set this.

Steps to reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

There are another couple of things missing from wnck 2.18 but I guess they can't go in until 2.21 release.

Gustavo would you like a patch for the missing API?

As soon as you branch g-p-d it can go in trunk.

A patch would be nice but I'd rather avoid branching so soon.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
