Description Pedro Villavicencio 2007-10-03 18:40:25 UTC
This bug has been filled here:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/148593

"Evince has a tickybox in the View menu which lets you disable the toolbar (so more of your screen is available for the document and less wasted on the UI). However, if you have the toolbar disabled and then select View->Full screen the toolbar reappears! Evince should honour the user's preference in both windowed and full screen mode (especially since presumably you've put it in full screen mode precisely in order to have as much document on screen as possible).

(Before you ask why not just use presentation mode, presentation mode doesn't honour the 'Dual' tickybox in the View menu to show two pages at once.)"

Thanks,

Although the fullscreen toolbar is not exactly the same as the main toolbar, I think it make sense to assume that if the user didn't want the main toolbar he/she won't want the toolbar in fullscreen mode too.

I've just fixed it in svn trunk. Thanks for reporting.
