Description Sri Ramkrishna 2001-09-10 01:18:32 UTC
There are several ways to have nautilus remember the size of it's window.
One is to use sawfish's configuration to do it and the other to use the new
window on a new item. But thats too subtle for a newbie user. There should be
something in the configuration probably under the preferences menu that says
"remember window size". This makes it more obvious.

Changing to "old" target milestone for all bugs laying around with no milestone set.

Hi Sri,
Isn't this a session management problem. Shouldn't window sizes be
remembered through the session managent system?
Comment 3 Dave Bordoley [Not Reading Bug Mail] 2002-05-13 05:54:45 UTC
in the scope of gnome2, this is a session management problem so i'm
going to mark this a dupe of bug 81313 which a more general session
management bug.
