BTW, I was right clicking on the people "dock", I guess. Trying to figure out how I can remove things from the dock. I didn't want firefox in there!
Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. For the firefox bookmark issue: Open the file .gimmie-bookmarks in your home folder and remove the line that contains "firefox". This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but we are happy to tell you that the problem has already been fixed. It should be solved in the next software version.
