GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 481037
The bottom pixel of links is not clickable
Last modified: 2007-09-27 17:59:44 UTC
The pixel at the bottom of links is not clickable. So lets say you have a link in the terminal, you move your mouse cursor up until it shows the underline (and no pixel further). If one right clicks a menu without the "open link" item is shown.
Hm, not sure if this is a vte or gnome terminal bug. Moving to gnome-terminal as that is the one displaying the popup ... Also this is kind of related to bug 331683 I guess.
As with all the good bugs - it's a combination of both. vte hides the information that g-t needs to accurately determine whether you have clicked on a match. I guess it's about time to break out a devel cycle and start adding new API and upping the library requirements. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 385695 ***
