This dialogue is from Glade Interface Designer. The palette uses a small window frame, which metacity draws squared instead of rounded. See screenshot.

Tom can you double check that this is actually the same bug? I think you might have jumped the gun... I'm not on a GNOME box right now so I can't check myself.
