"I want to resize image, which is originally 11750x2481. I open Image -> Resize dialog and see there: width 10000, height 2481. I can't set value greater than 10000 for both of them."

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
