Description Brady Anderson 2007-09-19 19:44:15 UTC
After changing the language in the GDM Greeter the ~/.dmrc file does not get created and updated with the new language selection. Logging out and then back in again I am re-prompted to make the changed language current for the new session or default for the system.

I am new to GDM but this looks like an obvious regression from some previous version. The problem also exists in 2.19.7 and above.

I am responsible for this bug downstream in the openSUSE 10.3 distro

Is this the same bug as bug #453916? If so, note there is a proposed fix in that bug. I'd take a patch that fixes this problem.

If this is the same bug, please close this as a duplicate.
