GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 47827
cursor should change to hand when over icon in single-click mode (as in web browser)
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Currently in single click mode, an icon becomes highlighted and the text underlined when the mouse is over it but the mouse cursor is still an arrow. It would be consistent to use the ``hand'' mouse pointer when the mouse is over any single click links. (I've often double clicked because the que for double click, the arrow pointer, is there.) ------- Additional Comments From darin@bentspoon.com 2001-03-26 09:37:24 ---- This is a good idea. ------- Additional Comments From bfrantzda@hmc.edu 2001-04-09 19:06:18 ---- The user should also get this cursor when the mouse is over the spinner, at least when that's enabled as a link. Also it might be good for the statusbar to show the link location to be consistent with browswers. ------- Additional Comments From arlo@workthatmouse.com 2001-04-09 19:07:38 ---- I'm okay with these changes... who wants to impliment them? ------- Additional Comments From arlo@workthatmouse.com 2001-04-09 23:19:34 ---- I need to do cursors for this... I'll attach them soon. ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2001-09-09 21:31 ------- The original owner (arlo@workthatmouse.com) of this bug does not have an account here. What's the status of this? Nobody has touched it in a while.
Still a good idea. No one is working on it.
