Description Diego González 2007-09-18 21:33:55 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I'm using nautilus on a 2GHz laptop, it takes 8 seconds for nautilus to show the files in a directory that has 448 pdf files in it. It is quite slow i think. Windows explorer takes less time and it is using the ext3 driver to access the same folder.

Steps to reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Actual results:

Expected results:
Just to take less time, something in the range of the 2-3 seconds.

Does this happen every time?
Yes, the first time that this directory is used.
