Description Raul Acevedo 2007-09-11 21:55:57 UTC
Evolution should pick a default address book. For example, if I only have On This Computer -> Personal as my only address book, it should automatically be the default, since it is the only one. If there are multiple address books, it should always have one selected as the default.

Other information:
This came about from adding email contacts to my address book; it wasn't working and I was about to file a bug for that, when I finally noticed the reason "Add to Address Book" wasn't working was that the address book was empty, because I didn't have a default address book. This is silly; it doesn't make sense to not have a default address book automatically selected, especially if you only have one.

I've seen this once too when using 3.2 for the first time.

We already have a default address book:

Pretty sure that's always been the case. Closing as OBSOLETE.
