GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 475686
error checking for new mail
Last modified: 2007-09-11 12:09:24 UTC
Please describe the problem: I am new to Ubuntu and Linux, just installed a couple of hours ago. First time using Evolution, I set up to download using POP from a webmail account that has over 700 messages. Fortunately I checked the box not to remove messages from my webmail after downloading. After downloading I get two message box errors: the first Message Box: "ERROR WHILE STORING FOLDER INBOX" Summary and folder mismatch, even after a sync the second message Box appears right under the first after I press the "Ok" button the second message box: ERROR WHILE FETCHING MAIL: Summary and folder mismatch, even after a sync Webmail reports that I have a total of 859 messages but Evolution reports that I have 875 messages!!! Every time I push the send/receive button I get the two message boxes, however any new email seems to be downloaded to Evolution Steps to reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? Other information:
