Description itrombley 2007-09-08 21:46:07 UTC
1. Start Gimp.
2. Open an image (in my case this was a 4386 x 2920 ppm file output from UFRaw).
3. Make a rectangular selection somewhere on the image.
4. Select Image/Crop to Selection and the results are a segmentation fault.

The crash likely occurs because of the same reason as in bug #469831, so I am closing this as a duplicate. Please reopen this if the problem persists when that bug is fixed.
