Description Alberto Ruiz 2007-09-07 15:41:28 UTC
Please describe the problem:
If the user has a remote server added to the places menu, when you try to connect from the menu it gets frozen while trying to connect to the server.

Sometimes this operation takes some time and there's no way to cancel it.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Add a remote server location to the places menu.
2. Try to connect to it.
3. In the meantime try to open another menu.

That's a known bug. I can't find the bug number right now, though: it's either in gnome-panel, libgnome or gnome-vfs. Moving to gvfs will probably fix this.

Bah, can't find it. I'll let the bug open for now, but it won't be fixed until we switch to gvfs.
