Description Frederik Hertzum 2007-09-04 21:34:59 UTC
I find it annoying to have to reposition icons on my desktop after having used nautilus to clean up the icons to the left side of the desktop. Right click on the desktop -> choose "Align by name" (translated from Danish), to see this effect.

I request that a feature be implemented which allows an icon to be ignored when asking nautilus to clean up the desktop. Such an icon will only be moved by the user or optionally be completely stuck on the desktop, making it impossible to move it at all, unless it is unstuck first.
