Description demanuel 2007-09-04 13:41:26 UTC
Hi!

This is the feature i miss most from opera:

"Keywords can be used to search even faster. Simply type the keyword followed by a space and then your search phrase directly into the address field. For example, typing "g" followed by "Opera" will search for the word "Opera" through the search engine that's been allotted the keyword "g", in this case Google." - from http://www.opera.com/support/service/search/

I use this for searching in google, youtube, various wikis...

Thank you.

This is indeed very useful, but I think it would belong to an extension.
Comment 2 Reinout van Schouwen 2007-09-10 22:05:05 UTC
There's already an extensions for this that reuses the deskbar applet shortcuts:
http://www.gnome.org/~nigeltao/epiphany_extensions/bookmark-shortcuts/

(Not sure if works with the rewritten deskbar applet though...)

Marking duplicate.
