Description Joanmarie Diggs (IRC: joanie) 2007-09-03 01:13:32 UTC
This is a tracking bug for the following Mozilla bug:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=394688
setCaretOffset() is off by one character (should be 0-indexed?)

As a result, what we speak and braille match, but the on-screen caret is always one character behind. Aside from being potentially a little bit confusing for low vision users, I suspect it will impact text selection (once we are no longer getting bogus starting offsets on that front).
Comment 1 Joanmarie Diggs (IRC: joanie) 2007-09-06 00:09:48 UTC
This has been fixed in trunk and should make it into the next nightly build. Closing as NOTGNOME.
