Description Jorge González 2007-08-29 18:55:12 UTC
The dialog error says:
"Evolution error"

and that's all. (See capture at http://aloriel.no-ip.org/uploads/2007/08/error_de_evolution.jpg)

It happens when evolution tries to download mail automatically and there is no internet connection (the system is connected to a router but the router is not connected to the internet).

Can you please try in current stable 2.22.2 and provide the gdb traces of evolution process if issue still exists, thanks in advance. Start evolution from terminal, when error pops up (don't close the error winodow), do ctrl+c and thread a a bt and provide the traces.

see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces/Details#gdb-not-yet-running for details
about how to do this
