What were you doing when the application crashed?
There was finished game. I pressed menu File, Generate New Puzzles. Then window Puzzle Generator appeared, did not drow its contents and bug buddy appeared. (Note:  'h\xc3\xa1danka' means 'puzzle' in my languge.)

It looks like code attempted to evaluate int('h\xc3\xa1danka'), so I suspect it is a translation issue because 'h\xc3\xa1danka' ('hádanka') is a translation of 'puzzle' in my language (LANG=cs_CZ.UTF-8). I am adding L10N keyword.
