GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 469409
Can't seem to turn off Automatic Contacs
Last modified: 2013-09-13 00:52:04 UTC
Please describe the problem: Several days ago I turned on automatic contacts (preferences->mail preferences->automatic contacts) and then turned it off. The preferneces dialog shows it being off. Nonetheless, I'm still harvesting contacts for e-mails I respond to. Steps to reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? Other information:
Evo version 2.11.92 has this problem even though I have never used this feature. It is on by default and every responded email generates a new contact when it is not in the address book.
Evo 2.12 has this problem as well. Having contacts automatically added is very inconvenient if it cannot be turned off.
I upgraded to evolution 2.12.0 and still have the problem.
I have this problem as well. Also I can't choose in which AB to save the contacts. All those configurations are just lost.
