Description John Baxter 2007-08-20 19:37:24 UTC
Version: 2.18.0

What were you doing when the application crashed?
adding a user from root account because...
(1)this is a new install (2)first logged in as an user setup during install (first ever login after installed ) (3) got the "kstartupconfig failed' error (4) forum solution says to login as root and go to 'USERS/ Groups" to create new accounts and give permissions, etc.) (5) I had just 'OKed' the first user I created and the 'USER and GROUPS' app crashed ... I tried to be specific as this is now 3 computers I am getting the same problem on(kstartupconfig' error at new install) hope you guys get this fixed SOON ! thanks a million, John feel free to email me if you need any more info or I can help in any way
using this computer, also an amd system with ati 9800, and an intel laptop with ati 9600 mobility video... each are getting the initial login kstartupconfig error this system is the only 64 bit computer of the three
