One of the features I constantly use in Digikam and Picasa is Video exporting.
You just select the pictures, select a audio file(mp3,ogg,wmv) and transition, effect for the slides and done. But it would also be nice to have captioning feature :-).

Agreed, it would be a nice feature. The severity of this bug should really be "Enhancement" rather than "Normal", btw.
