GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 466503
Mnemonics conflict in Mail preferences -> Junk
Last modified: 2013-09-13 00:57:49 UTC
'C' Mnemonics is used in "Check for incoming mail for junk" and for "Close" button also Mnemonics to "Check for incoming mail for junk" should be changed. I think 'h' will be good one. Other information: Read this before creating/submitting a patch. Details of how mnemonics should be used. http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gup/hig/2.0/input-keyboard.html#choosing-access-keys
Created attachment 93626 [details] Screenshot of conflicting mnemonics. Adding screen shot of conflicting mnemonics.
Please check this conflict in Mail preferences -> Junk Screen.
lucky: please do add a dep on 324810 (and feel free to search the listed deps for dups) when filing mnemonic issues. thanks.
also, fixing this will most probably change strings. therefore adding string keyword (for future reference). "usability" is something else, perhaps you meant "accessibility"?
Created attachment 99930 [details] [review] Patch changes mnemonic from 'c' to 'm' The logical choice for the new mnemonic, 'h', is taken by the 'Help' button, so I changed it to 'm' instead.
Approved to commit. I will commit this.
