Please describe the problem:
When trying to search the rhythmbox-devel mailing list at http://mail.gnome.org/archives/rhythmbox-devel/
says:
"NOTICE (2006-07-08): We're re-building the archive search indexes (again). It bombed out silently last time leaving lockfiles in place (and archives unsearchable). Please bear with us while we try to get it sorted out. -- GNOME sysadmin team."

I tried to search for the first word in the latest email and it doesn't work.
So rebuilding the search index took a year now?

Steps to reproduce:
1. Search the mailing list rhythmbox-dev for sth
2. No answer returned


Actual results:
The above notice is displayed.

Expected results:
I want search results.


Does this happen every time?
Yes.

http://dir.gmane.org/gmane.comp.gnome.apps.rhythmbox.devel has better archives.

Not specific to rhythmbox, reassigning as a duplicate of a (very old: since 2002!) bug #74288.
