Description j_greenhouse 2007-08-10 19:28:11 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Play a song from "Recently added".
Double click "Music" (in the left panel).

This will cause rhythmbox to display "Not playing" yet it will play the song you where playing from the recently added from the start again.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start Rhythmbox (Needs to be a freshly started instance)
2. Double click "Recently added". (A song will start to play)
3. Double click "Music"

Actual results:
The GUI Will change to "Not playing". The time bar will be frozen. yet the song that was playing from "Recently added" will start to play again.

Expected results:
A song from the library should start to play and the GUI should reflect that change.

Does this happen every time?
Yes, but the steps I showed have to be the first steps done in rhythmbox. If you play a song from the library first, it will behave normally.

I was going to file a similar bug. This happens to me when going to or from any playlist, but the key for me seems to be when shuffle is enabled.

Agreed, I have shuffle enabled 2 when it happens.(I always do so I forgot to mention).
