Gthumb 2.10.x: Bulk rename displays file name "template" wrong
Last modified: 2007-08-10 18:36:05 UTC
I'm using Gthumb 2.10.0 on Mandriva Linux and also 2.10.5 on Gentoo Linux. I opened the Gthumb file browser and selected multiple JPG images. I then hit <F2> to open the rename dialog. As name, I entered: %fCdc%e. Note that there are NO spaces after the %f and/or before the %e. This is shown on the first screenshot, which I'll attach. I then click on "rename" and the files are properly renamed. Next, I select some other images (or the same images again) and hit <F2> again. As you can see on the 2nd screenshot, the "template" is not okay. It is displayed as "?dc%e". Also note what's shown in the "Neuer Name" (New Name) column: "??????". Is that, because Gthumb somehow interpretes %fCdc as some character in subsequent runs?
