Description Rich Burridge 2007-08-08 18:56:30 UTC
From Scott on the Orca mailing list:

"How about having the word if you are on it and open the
pronunciation dictionary it already has the word put in
for you all you need to do is to add the correct pronunciation.
This would be similiar to how Kurzweil 1000 does it in Windows
and it works great."

Actually it was to me direct via email. Not the list.
I think Joanie or Mike or Will or somebody else also
came up with this idea.

I don't believe this would be that hard. And it would be cool. Assigning to myself. Because it will involve a string change for the binding/command description, targeting for 2.27.5 pending evaluation.

We are late in the 2.28 release cycle and I want to focus on "high impact"/"low risk" items that also fall within the release team's restrictions in place. Regretfully, this bug doesn't fit well within those constraints and we'll review it for the 2.29 release cycle.

Planning spam. Sorry!
