Description Quim Gil 2007-08-07 20:36:44 UTC
Planned to be in the About section. Not a blocker but we need to have it sooner than later.

The purpose of this page is to offer official logos, guidelines and trademark policy, in the lines of http://live.gnome.org/BrandGuidelines and http://live.gnome.org/Trademark
Comment 1 Quim Gil 2007-08-07 20:40:49 UTC
In fact this page can be the "Legal" linked in the footer.
Comment 2 Murray Cumming 2007-08-28 16:34:41 UTC
Why would we want to duplicate the content from
http://foundation.gnome.org/legal/
and
http://foundation.gnome.org/licensing/index.html
instead of just linking to it?
Comment 3 Quim Gil 2007-09-01 09:26:43 UTC
Good idea. I didn't even know about these pages. :/

Let's link to http://foundation.gnome.org/legal/ in the footer and in the default "About" page.

From a user point of view it is not obvious that the logo files and guidelines are found through "legal" and this is a typical request we are getting in the board. The link in the About" page should mention the logo & trademark licensing as well.
Comment 4 Murray Cumming 2007-09-07 11:06:30 UTC
OK. I've added a link on http://gnome.jardigrec.eu/en/about, and I've added a comment about adding a footer link to bug #461606.
