GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 463800
Cover Art Plugin
Last modified: 2018-05-24 12:44:32 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #463780 +++ At the moment when playing audio you can have a blank black screen or a visualizer. It would be great if there was a plugin to show cover art fetched from amazon or another web service whenever an audio track was being played. If the cover art was cached in the same location as Rhythmbox all the better. The easiest would be for most of the generic classes to be split out of __init__.py (that's the ArtDisplayWidget and FadingImage objects, and the merge_with_background and merge_pixbufs functions). That'd leave me with ~100 lines to reimplement for Totem (for a sidebar widget).
