Description Quim Gil 2007-08-05 19:08:07 UTC
A lot more could be done on http://gnome.jardigrec.eu/en/get-started/ms-windows-compatible :

- Explaining that a way to start getting a grasp of GNOME is to use GTK+ applications compatible with MS Windows.

- That software using GTK+ (brief explanation of what is this or link somewhere) can be compatible on MS Windows and why.

- It's ok to have a list of apps now, but they can be presented in a much nicer way (i.e. with screenshots). fyi in the future this list will be provided by the GNOME Products section.

- Link to know more at http://live.gnome.org/GnomeMarketing/GnomeOnWindows and the external resources at gtk.org and... a recommended Open CD with free software for windows with a high presence of GNOME apps?

This bug was specific to the Plone site. We have no GNOME on Windows page (and no plans to get one) for the new wordpress site.
Closing this one if no objections in, say, two weeks.
