Please describe the problem:
The screensaver activates even though I'm working in a program such as gedit, firefox. Only moving the mouse over the desktop keeps the screensaver from activating.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open gedit
2. Work away
3. 


Actual results:
Screensaver activates

Expected results:
Screensaver doesn't activate

Does this happen every time?

Yes, two screens on an nVidia GeForce 7300 GS

I'm now on Linux carmen.atlantic 2.6.26.6-79.fc9.x86_64 #1 SMP Fri Oct 17 14:20:33 EDT 2008 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
