Description Ignacio Casal Quinteiro (nacho) 2007-08-02 15:24:45 UTC
The application should use translation memories

    * Import translation memories from Kbabel
    * Import translation memories from poEdit
    * Export translation memories
          o (also in TMX format?)
    * Merge translation memories.
Comment 1 Sílvia Miranda 2008-02-01 09:51:59 UTC
I totally agree.

I also think it's a good idea to have options for importing and exporting translation memories in TMX format.

I filled another bug regarding translation memories:

I've been thinking about this and maybe the best way to implement it is making an interface with the save, load, and all neccessary func to implement a translation memory. Then write some modules that implement that interface, one using libxml2 to implement the TMX format another one using gettext to implement the po compendium and another using a database like sqlite.

In the patch you have a changelog entry with the changes. I'll try to finish it in the next two weeks but for now it is usable.

split in words 2

I added a badwords array to detect if it is not a good word for adding in the database.

TM patch

This should fix this bug.
Comment 7 Pablo Sanxiao 2008-09-18 11:36:27 UTC
This new feature is implemented in the trunk version of the Gnome subversion repository. It will be available in the next major release.

Thanks for your bug report.
