Not sure what the best words are...

Some cell phones display the number you type in a way that the last line of the display (layout) is always right-aligned and digits move towards the left of the line and eventually to *previous* lines as you type.   It's like a regular right-aligned layout, but instead of the last line being partially full, it's the first line that is, ie. line breaking happens from the end of the the text, not start.
