configure returns cannot be compiled for resolv.h

I downloaded 2.14.7 and received the following error from configure, which I am reporting as requested by the error message. configure: WARNING: resolv.h: present but cannot be compiled configure: WARNING: resolv.h: check for missing prerequisite headers? configure: WARNING: resolv.h: see the Autoconf documentation configure: WARNING: resolv.h: section "Present But Cannot Be Compiled" configure: WARNING: resolv.h: proceeding with the preprocessor's result configure: WARNING: resolv.h: in the future, the compiler will take precedence configure: WARNING: ## --------------------------------------------------------------------- ## configure: WARNING: ## Report this to http://bugzilla.gnome.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=ORBit2 ## configure: WARNING: ## --------------------------------------------------------------------- ## I was running cygwin (latest version as of 7/15/2007) under windows XP and the resolv.h that was referenced by the above error was from /usr/include.
Could be related to bug 309866 I reckon
