Description Christopher Roy Bratusek 2007-07-15 09:22:34 UTC
this is not my idea but the author didn't request it here so i'm going to do this.

The idea is to separate Files and Folders with Headlines "Folders" and "Files"

like described here: http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Nautilus+-+separation+of+files+and+folders?content=62271

my suggestion to this above is:

1. to be able to choose wether the headlines are displayed left or right
2. to separate File by main-type eg: Audio, Video, Grafics, which is usefull if you have folders with lots of files

I agree with Christopher. It can be very useful, especially in a developpement environnement where, in a same folder, we have PHP files, JS files, PNG files, ....
