What were you doing when the application crashed?
Deskbar crashes on login since I installed the "tracker" desktop search application. the Deskbar applet is gray and is not removable from the panel following the crash. Adding a new deskbar applet works and even tracker works but the crashed applet is not removable from the panel. Consequently I have multiple deskbar applets now, all non-functional.

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.

killall deskbar-applet and having it reload might help after every login. Or disabling the tracker plugin until tracker-0.6 comes out
