What were you doing when the application crashed?
I was opening Ekiga after I had installed software for my webcam (MS XV1000). The software was gspcav1 and gspcav1-kmdl-<uname -r> ie. matched the kernel being used. Refer: http://linux.derkeiler.com/Mailing-Lists/Fedora/2007-03/msg01865.html. Ekiga opened OK before installation of webcam s/w.
