Description Thomas Wood 2007-07-07 12:44:55 UTC
The site map is incomplete, yet linked from every page.
Comment 1 Murray Cumming 2007-07-07 15:07:12 UTC
Yes:
http://gnome.jardigrec.eu/sitemap

This should be removed from the footer until it's correct and always will be automatically.
Comment 2 Quim Gil 2007-07-07 21:45:34 UTC
Agreed. Anyway this sitemap comes mor from the Plone features than from the wgo requirements, as far as I remember.
Comment 3 Quim Gil 2007-07-29 20:22:35 UTC
I was wrong, in fact this sitemap link was agreed. See Footer elements at http://live.gnome.org/GnomeWeb/ComponentSelection

Ramon, what needs to be done to activate this sitemap?
Comment 4 Quim Gil 2007-07-31 20:39:27 UTC
Moving to major, even if this won't be ever a blocker.
Comment 5 Carsten Senger 2008-11-30 11:34:16 UTC
The Sitemap works at the moment. You can see it in the sandbox:
http://gnome.sogilis.com/sitemap

Out of the box, the settings of the sitemap are shared with the navigation (the navigation-box in the right column at the second level, not the tabs). What's configurable is:

 * What content types to show (Folders, Pages, Images, ...)

 * What workflow-state (normally only published content)

 * The depth of the sitemap (normally 2 or 3 levels, depends on our content)

Every Object has an option to exclude it from the navigation, so you can show pages, but exclude some.

Questions:

 * What should be shown in the sitemap?

 * The sitemap shows a tree with the titles of the objects.
The description is set as the title-attribute of the link, most browsers
show them if you hover the link. Is that ok?

Hey folks, this bug has been set to NEEDINFO for quite some time now. Is there any chance that we can revolve this issue?
Comment 7 Thomas Wood 2009-06-07 20:12:48 UTC
Since there is no site map at the moment, the original bug report is actually resolved.
Comment 8 Tobias Mueller 2009-06-07 20:59:07 UTC
Hm. I am closing this bug then. Hoping that the Plone solution will bring us a working sitemap.
