Description Bill Gianopoulos 2007-07-03 11:28:44 UTC
When attempting to play embedded media using Firefox 3.0 alpha builds, the browser crashes and the following error is generated:

./firefox-bin: symbol lookup error: /home/wag/firefox/plugins/libtotem-complex-plugin.so: undefined symbol: _ZN8nsMemory5CloneEPKvj

This issue does not occur on the same webpages using Firefox 2.0.0.4.

Updating the plugin form 2.16.1-1 to 2.16.5-1 did not help. 2.16.5-1 is the latest version of the plugin I can find for Fedora Core 6.

You need to recompile totem against your exact version of Firefox. Blame them for changing the ABI.
