Specifically, I had Rhythmbox open and some mp3 tracks selected, then edited tags for those tracks in ExFalso. When I committed the changes I had made, Rhythmbox crashed. I have done this before without such a crash happening.

Fixed in svn. I'm not quite confident enough to apply the change to the stable branch, though.

Re-opening because this fix introduces a regression in the browser: 1. set preferences to use "Genre, Artist, Album" view 2. select an artist in browser 3. then select an album and double click on it to start playing. 4. go back to artist list and select a new artist (this will show the albums for that artist) 5. try changing artist again, now library browser gets stuck on the first list of albums selected *after* playing begins (i.e. the list of albums shown after the end of step 4). You can duplicate this regression in both the Library and playlists. It doesn't show up until you start playing a track from the Library or a playlist, using the browser to narrow the album lists in the Library or playlist if you haven't started a track from that source doesn't trigger the regression. Once a particular source has had the issue, then it's "stuck" until rhythmbox is restarted.
