This is a total nitpick, but if you try to rename a file on the desktop to the
name of another file, the resulting dialog tells you that:

The name "foo" is already used in this folder. Please use a different name"

At some point, perhaps the dialog should be reworded to say "the desktop"
instead of "the folder" in this context.

Taking bugs previously assigned to Pavel, assigning them to myself. Will parse
them out at my leisure , but many are GnomeVFS bugs we should look at for 2.0

Changing to "old" target milestone for all bugs laying around with no milestone set.
Comment 2 John Fleck 2002-04-14 14:58:42 UTC
This seems nitpicky enough that it's worth moving off to "future" and
"enhancement".
Comment 3 Ben FrantzDale 2002-07-21 08:21:21 UTC
Can this be generalized? I.e., are there other cases where Nautilus
should be doing s/in this folder/on the desktop/g?

Also, are there other special folders than the desktop, such as
vfolders, preferences://, etc.?
Comment 4 Christian Neumair 2005-07-02 15:41:21 UTC
Thanks for your bug report! Ben: I don't see why vfolders aren't folders. The
two special cases are IMHO trash and desktop.
Comment 5 Joachim Noreiko 2005-12-29 17:10:12 UTC
Saying 'in this location' would satisfy all possibilities.
