Description Mike Kupfer 2007-06-26 20:58:47 UTC
When I'm trying to get a handle on my disk usage, I sometimes want to know whether a large (space-consuming) directory has a few large files or many smaller files. The graphical view in Konqueror provides this information, and I've found it useful. (Like the time I noticed that my 5MB core file was really 50MB... :-/) It'd be nice if the Disk Usage Analyzer showed that level of detail in the graphical view, perhaps as an option.

I would like to add my support for this bug and its duplicate -- it would be very useful to display individual file sizes and not just directory totals in baobab.

Patch which adds support for showing files to Baobab.

This adds a small checkbox in the dropdown menu on the upper left which toggles the showing of files in both the list and rings chart/treemap chart view.

GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version of Baobab, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new enhancement request ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/baobab/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
