Description David Richards 2007-06-26 16:38:40 UTC
Right now you cannot select multiple meetings at the same time. Shift-click is treated the same as a click.

The reason this is important is for deleting multiple meetings at the same time. If you have 10 meetings in one day, you should be able to select all of them and delete them all at once.

What about new menu item "Delete events...", which will bring up dialog and you could select start and end date, and all events between these dates (inclusive) will be deleted? I've this in my mobile, and it could work here as well (of course only if you need this for deleting only).
Comment 2 David Richards 2007-07-02 13:53:50 UTC
That would be excellent. Are people going to complain if the dialog doesn't not allow for selection of calendar sources? Possibly it will have to delete from multiple sources on each of the dates.
Comment 3 Milan Crha 2007-07-02 14:01:12 UTC
It could be either a popup menu over source or there could be a source selector, maybe with checkbox "In all (non-readonly) sources". Which one do you prefer? (BTW, I'm just saying my opinion, real developers could have other opinion.)
Comment 4 David Richards 2007-07-02 14:42:45 UTC
Ok, I like the idea of a right-mouse on top of the source. That item would be disabled then for read-only sources. That way, the user would be able to select the source they want to use, and it's a bit hidden from their view so that inexperienced users don't step into the code accidentally.

Right mouse on source and new option says "Delete Entries By Date Range"

After select, it says:
-----------------------------------------
Start Date: XX/XX/XXXX [calendar ui]
End Date : XX/XX/XXXX [calendar ui]

  [Cancel] [OK]
------------------------------------------

If you click [OK] it says

Do you really want to delete all calendar entries in this date range?
     [Yes] [[NO]]

Still happening in 3.2. I can select several meetings in list view, but if I click the "Delete" button in the toolbar only one of them gets deleted.
