What were you doing when the application crashed? Attempted to install Stellarium from Source -Forge. Found that the files for Stellarium were already present in "open and remove applications". Clicked the three files for Stellarium and applied. Icon appeared in the Graphic section but Stellarium would not launch and could not be removed from the Graphics application. Unfortunately, that stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash.
